Bi-Weekly Update: 1st February 2019–15th February 2019

Dear Jura Community Members：

Thank you very much for your continued support! Over the last two weeks, we have made tremendous progress across all key aspects of our project. Notably, we have been following our technical roadmap by keep delivering the core features of the JURA network as initially proposed in the whitepaper.

1. Tech Development

1.1. Encryption

Added round signature function
Fixed bugs in the process of signing and verifying signatures
Tested each part thoroughly

1.2. Browser

Completed the development of the initial version that supports simultaneous display public chain status and single round or a single transaction. It also includes all the rounds and transaction information.

1.3. Wallet

Added the faucet function and fixed the login failure bug.

1.4. Jura-j

Completed the token faucet interface and a series of main chain RPC interfaces to support third-party apps. Also, optimized the entire RPC related code.

2. Business, Events & Marketing

2.1. Jura’s Chinese Technical Community

Thanks to the support of our JURA enthusiasts, the JURA Chinese developer’s technical community has been formally established.

We have set up our unique Proof Of Utility consensus mechanism for group rewards, monthly activity integration rewards, and annual activity comprehensive rewards.

Everyone can earn JREX tokens by inviting friends to join the WeChat group.
But the fun doesn’t stop here! Jura Team will release development tasks that users can complete to earn more JREX tokens. We will also post questions in the community, and then the Jura Team will reward the top three quality responses of the respondents. The winner can get up to 2088 JREX after completing one answer.

2.2. Jura & Mars Finance sign a cooperation deal

Jura was invited by Mars Finance & Economics to participate in its annual meeting where the two groups reached a cooperation deal. This deal with Mars Finance will be extremely vital for Jura’s popularity and international identity in the blockchain industry.

2.3. Jura SuperRep Phase 1 Complete

The SuperReps has been overwhelming and we have received nearly 100 applicants from dozens of countries including the United States, Britain, Mexico, Israel, Vietnam and Russia. The first batch of SuperReps is already in-place and slowly, these group of extraordinary individuals will start handling most of the activities on Jura’s Telegram Channel. The second phase of SuperRep Recruitment will begin next month.
Jura SuperReps will also be rewarded with JREX tokens for inviting their friends to Jura’s Telegram Channel.
Jura promises to issue a wealth of JREX tokens to super delegates.

2.4. Iris & Paul Madsen from Hashgraph Exchange Ideas

Iris discussed the future of the blockchain and the potential impact of technological breakthroughs in New York alongside Paul Madsen, technical director Hedera Hashgraph. The conversation was very fruitful and ended with a good consensus: the future of blockchain is very bright!
