Bi-Weekly Update: 16th January 2019 — 31st January 2019
Dear Jura Community Members：
Thank you very much for your continued support! Over the last two weeks, we have made tremendous progress across all key aspects of our project. Notably, we have been following our technical roadmap by keep delivering the core features of the JURA network as initially proposed in the whitepaper. We’ve also held our Alpha Test Network!
1. Tech Development
1.1. Nodal Implementation
Implemented a stable catch-up feature to support and facilitate new nodes joining and leaving the shard on a continuous basis.
1.2. FUSUS Module
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve finished designing our signature database and dynamic account creation feature. On the backend, we’re also fixed some data recovery bugs.
1.3. Crypto
Fixed up some minor transaction signing and validation issues, as well as voting process from the Jura wallet and mainchain sides. All tests we’ve run on these new features have passed with flying colors.
1.4. Explorer
Reviewed and designed explorer UI
1.5. Jura Wallet
Developed and modified a safer storage mechanism to store user info, and added AES protection.
2. Business & Marketing
2.1. Jura SuperRep Program 2019 — Batch 1 Selection
Our Jura SuperRep 2019 program is live now and we have already selected 10 promising individuals to get the ball rolling! They will be responsible for engaging with the Jura community members, make the Telegram group more active through their efforts, represent Jura in local media or events and ear Jura tokens for their services. Congratulations to the selected individuals.
2.2. Jura is preparing to form a Chinese Technical Community
With the steady development of our technology, we’ve decided to start forming a JURA developer technical community with the goal of facilitating Jura’s tech focused conversations. To this end, we’ve established a small scale WeChat community. If you would like to participate in the Jura Tech community, please contact us for further details.
3. Strategic Partnerships
3.1. Jura & Bytomswap form a strategic partnership
We’re pleased to announce that Jura is partnering with Bytomswap, a blockchain based distributed asset trading platform that operates under the Bytom umbrella to build and refine dapps. We’re very excited to work with the Bytomswap team to expand their current portfolio of dapps.
